Honey Gnomes Best is the brainchild of Honi Alexander, a passionate advocate for diversity, education, and environmental sustainability. With over 6 years of experience in school gardening, Honi has a special place in her heart for children who may sometimes feel invisible.
Honi's journey began when she visited a school garden and witnessed the joy students found in playing with garden gnomes. However, she also noticed the lack of diversity in gnome representations—a gap she was determined to bridge.
Driven by her experiences and a desire to create a more inclusive world, Honi founded Honey Gnomes Best. Our lead character, Asali, symbolizes the spirit of curiosity, intelligence, and leadership. Asali, meaning "honey" in Swahili, leads her friends, the Honey Gnomes, on magical adventures to save the bees and nurture gardens.
Honey Gnomes work their gardening magic at night, ensuring there are pollinating plants to sustain the bees and feed honey to the gnomes. Focusing on representation and diversity, Honey Gnomes Best offers a range of culturally focused products, including 6-inch and 8-inch garden gnomes, and children's books.
Our mission goes beyond selling products—we strive to inspire young minds, promote diversity, and foster a deeper connection to nature.
